The second of the two-day course requirement. You must attend Day 1 and Day 2 to complete the training and fulfill the 16-hour training requirement. *Some offerings of this portion may also be scheduled as two half-days.

Completing this course satisfies 8 of the 16 hours of required training as well as the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense.

IMD MD W&C – Day 2 (Two – 4 Hour Segments)

This is Day 2 of the two-day course.

The second part of the two-day course requirement. Attendance on both Day 1 and Day 2 is necessary to complete the training, fulfilling the 16-hour requirement. Some offerings of this portion may also be scheduled as two half-days.

Completing this course satisfies 8 of the 16 hours of required training as well as the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense certifications.

What You Will Learn:

For the range segment, you will need a firearm along with a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition. If you don’t have a firearm, rental guns are available at the range. Ammunition is available to purchase at the range as well

A passing score of 70% is required for qualification for the Maryland Wear and Carry Permit.

If you are taking this course for security guard purposes, note that the shooting qualification is more challenging than the basic one. You’ll need a firearm and holster. This course does not include firearm training.

The cost includes classroom sessions, course materials, range time, passport photos, and firearms. Ammunition is not included.
